From what I understand the Tiger Sport is only available in Great Britain. We get the 800's and 1200 Explorer. Although I have heard the 800 engine may be increased to around 900 cc's in the future. I don't know what they are going to do to the Explorer per your first link. Probably just a cosmetic do over.

The 1200 Explorer is too tall for the average rider. I look for them to address that to move more units.

Apparently, the Tiger Sport is available everywhere but North America!

Unfortunately all the demonstrators in the UK have been grounded temporarily by Triumph, due to their needing a software upgrade (*), so I couldn't take it for a spin.
The Significant Other and I are intending to take a test drive in mid February. She already has a Tiger 800, but it's due for renewal in March. I currently have a Nightstorm, but the uncertainty of the future of the Thunderbirds has got me looking at other Triumph machines.
(*) That really doesn't inspire confidence in a ride-by-wire machine, does it?

I find the Trophy great and comfortable on long trips.Glad I got mine before they stopped making them. They have much better weather protection than the Tigers and are road bikes whereas the Tiger is supposedly a hybrid type.
